The Australian Medical Photobiomodulation Association's objectives are to promote and facilitate the advancement of laser medicine, photobiomodulation, and allied sciences in Australia.
AMPA serves as a discussion forum, a lobby group, and an educational resource for its members.
The Association is not affiliated, either directly or by proxy, with any commercial interest or operation. It exists for itself and its members and not for the financial or commercial benefit of its founders.
Various membership levels cater to the needs of anyone interested in the rapidly growing field of laser medicine and phototherapy, including students, researchers and practitioners. Commercial involvement is satisfied through corporate membership.

About Laser Safety Training
Laser Safety Training offers courses for people who wish to obtain a license to operate laser equipment for surgical procedures and cosmetic procedures or those who want to maintain, repair, or commission laser equipment.
We offer half-day and full-day courses that can be scheduled on-site at hospitals and clinics, with weekends available to prevent downtime, disruption and revenue loss.
Both our laser safety training and laser safety officer training courses follow the recommendations of ASNZS4173:2004, ACORN Standards for Perioperative Nursing (2012- 2013), ANMC standards. They are endorsed by the Australian College of Nursing.
