Sample screen for handpiece or multidiode:
- A – Indication of treatment program underway
- B – Treatment parameters in use
After pressing START an intermittent warning buzzer sounds, a warning lamp flashes and a warning triangle appears on the display to warn that laser is armed and ready to emit.
By pressing the button on the handpiece or multidiode head it then begins supplying MLS laser radiation.
In this state, the device shows a screen stating the treatment values, remaining treatment time (counting down) and the cumulative value of energy emitted (counting up).
During this status brief animations may show the treatment mode chosen.
From this state, the device can be set to PAUSE, which temporarily disables the applicator control button whilst maintaining the current treatment settings.
To resume the “ready for emission” state press START button again and then press the handpiece or multidiode head button.
Pressing the STOP button interrupts treatment resetting the current treatment data and reverting to the previous screen.
The on-screen button is the only way to cancel the treatment (apart from the emergency stop).
By contrast pressing the button on the handpiece or multidiode head pauses the treatment and the device is still active and ready to emit laser radiation.
