Management software
The management software for the device is structured to allow for different approaches to treatment.
From the home screen the user switches between using the robotic head (channel 2) and the handpiece (channel 1) using the button bottom right.
Pain Management mode – recommended
This is accessed by selecting a treatment area identified in the body map sections as seen on the home screen.
After selecting a body part on the diagram, the operator can choose to work with the two main treatment modes – Pathology Mode (handpiece or robotic head) or Area Mode when using the handpiece.
For example, after selecting the shoulder.
Pathology mode (handpiece):
This mode is activated by selecting one of the pre-set pathologies listed, some unique to the area, others common to several body parts.
By selecting the pathology, you are shown a representation of that body part, and the specific treatment area and points to target.
Pathology mode (robotic head):
On the home screen use the bottom on the bottom right to switch from the handpiece to the multidiode head.
You can also treat the shoulder using the pathology mode after choosing to use the robotic head.
Using the multidiode head is notable for the treatment requiring far fewer points of treatment. Note to place the head 20cm from the patient’s skin.
Area mode (handpiece only):
Instead of selecting a pathology you go to the section of the screen below that and select the type of pain you are treating – chronic or acute.
The treatment entails two phases, manual scanning (Scan Phase) and trigger point treatment (Trigger Points). These can be done in either order.
In the Scan Phase, the operator is guided on where to apply the laser through a loop representation of the areas to be treated in manual scanning.
In the Trigger Points phase, suggested points are shown on the display.
Note that in this mode, treatment does not only involve the tissues concerned by the pathology, but also all muscle groups directly and indirectly involved.
Manual mode
The treatment parameters are entered directly by the operator on the lower half of the home screen – Frequency, Time and Intensity.
Anti-oedema mode
The device has preset optimal parameters for efficient anti-oedematous action.
Biostimulating mode
The device has preset optimal parameters for efficient biostimulation.
Back Button – if you get lost, or don’t know what screen you are on – press the back button at the bottom left.
