Select a body part
From the Home Screen select channel 1 handpiece of channel 2 robotic head and then a body part you are going to treat.
For this lesson we are using the shoulder and are looking at the selections on the screen.
Pain Management Screen – handpiece
After having pressed an area of the human body, a screen appears showing details of the chosen area.
- A – Pathology mode (Pathology choice box)
- B – Area mode (‘Scan Phase’ treatment phase or subsequent ‘Trigger Points’ phase)
- C – Area mode (Choice of Acute or Chronic pain.)
In ‘Pathology’ mode, a certain number of points will be radiated with set energy doses. These are optimised according to the tissue phototype and size.
In ‘Area’ mode, you choose whether pain is in an acute or chronic phase. The device proposes the first manual scanning treatment phase, the ‘Scan Phase’, that is followed by the second ‘Trigger Points’ phase. The user can also chose the Trigger Points phase first.
Each time a choice is made, the appliance will set optimal treatment values or presets.
The operator can then alter any of the parameters of the preset.
Once selected the operator presses the START button.

Notice that there is no “Area Mode” for the robotic head. This is only applicable to the handpiece.
